R A W B O N E S is the sonic brainchild of Gabriel Kain and Luvain Maximen.  Together they infuse a delicate blend of energies that elevate their audience into a state of transcended consciousness.  Luvain is an acclaimed soul house vocalist and songwriter, having enjoyed chart success with D:REAM, N-JOI, AMEN UK! and other established acts. Gabriel cut his musical teeth on London’s 00s Indie scene. Recording with THE STROKES producer GORDON RAPHAEL, supporting GARY NUMAN and most recently, proudly co-wrote large scale musical production, ‘MUSIC MAKES ME’, celebrating inclusion and diversity that premiered at the ROYAL ALBERT HALL in June 2023.


 

R A W B O N E S defies categorization with a genre-bending sound that draws from diverse influences. At its core, the music is an eclectic blend of urban blues, infused with rich vocal harmonies and brooding electronic beats. This fusion takes an unexpected turn with the incorporation of Slavic folk elements, creating a layered tapestry of sound that is as unpredictable as it is captivating.


 

Grammy nominated producer Dave Pemberton, the sonic alchemist of R A W B O N E S,  completes the lineup. Renowned for his engineering and producing expertise, Pemberton has left an indelible mark on the music industry, boasting credits with iconic acts such as GROOVE ARMADA, THE PRODIGY, THE SPICE GIRLS and more. His experience adds an unmistakable touch to the band's musical identity, elevating and co-creating their unique sonic signature.
